Not wearing any underwear can be harmful!

If breathable underwear is good, is it even better if none is worn? The answer is no. Without underwear causes a whole series of other problems, especially since clothing does not tend to have a lining. On the one hand, in the pants, the seam is just in the vulvar area and there is constantly rubbing, which can irritate sensitive tissues. Second, he said, the natural moisture produced by the vagina has nowhere to go. For example, if you wear a dress or skirt, there is nothing to absorb vaginal moisture.

Sweaty underwear

Women who tend to sweat should change their underwear regularly – at least twice a day, instead of once. A warm and humid environment is the perfect place for microbe. The people prone to sweat more to avoid cotton and opt for a material that absorbs more. During physical exercise, you can choose a daily protector. So at least you can change immediately.

Non-hypoallergenic soap

Have you experienced itching? Another common irritation is a form of contact dermatitis. The number one cause is soap for clothes, many brands have a very high concentration of perfumes, it is not necessary for the vagina to smell like a garden. Select a natural soap.

Bra capacity and reduction bra

Today in the blog we want to tell you about the differences between a capacity bra and the reduction bra. At first we can think that they are similar, since both are designed for large breast sizes, but we found several differences between them.

First of all, we will talk about the capacity bra, which is mainly characterized by picking up the chest and giving it a natural rounded shape. They are made with resistant fabrics with high and deep cups that collect all the volume of the chest guaranteeing a perfect support for the day to day, thanks to its lateral whales and to which the shoulders are lined. In addition, their straps, being wider, relieve the weight of the chest and facilitate the mobility and comfort of the wearer.

Secondly, the reducing bra is mainly characterized by reducing up to one size. In this case, the reducer bra is designed for women with large breasts, has large moulders for better support and wider straps for comfort.

Reducing fasteners usually do not have filler and thus provide a moulded and stylish grip.

Bear in mind that here at Mary’s Secret Boutique you’ll find beautiful lingerie.

All you need to do is take advantage of such sales and hidden codes. Usually, you can find these codes on the tags a week before the sale starts.

If you prefer going to stores more than online shopping shoes for women, then make sure you make use of the best options available at hand. Do not end up spending all your money when you can easily save some.

#2 The special treatment

One of the major reasons why people are shifting to online shopping shoes for women is because of the way clients are treated. When you shop online, you get a sort of VIP treatment where there is an entire customer care team to help you when you need. There are personalised offers and deals to help you get the shoes at the best price. If you often shop at a particular store, you can easily get higher discounts and more offers.

You can get a similar treatment in offline stores as well. All you need to do is build a relationship. The retailers want to extract as much business out of you as possible, but they are ready to do it for an advantage for you as well. Visit the stores often, and you might get a special invite to the pre-sale.

#3 The products that you should focus on

While shopping, one should have a proper mindset as to what they want the most. However, if you be a little smart, you can get better products and at cheaper prices.

Focus on the items which occupy a larger area. Shoe stores are eager to get rid of such items. The bulkier the item, more space it occupies. Therefore, if you focus on the pair which is available in larger quantity, you might get some really good prices for such items.

Another strategy that even online stores follow is to increase the prices of the non-perishables. If you opt for online shopping shoes for women, be aware of the products of which you won’t notice the price. Stores generally take advantage of customers and try to rip them off on such products.

#4 Take advantage of your bills

Another aspect of shopping which can get you some amazing offers is the bill. Be it offline or online shopping shoes for women, and your receipt can fetch you a number of deals.

If you are going to stores, your receipt can get you a lot of additional items. It can even be a discount coupon for the next time you come to visit. Make sure you turn over your receipt or ask at the counter to get the best possible deals.

Whenever you plan to get something for yourself or for your dear friend, make sure you are patient. Shoes in stores and even when you go for online shopping shoes for women require a lot of research and patience. You have to wait for the right week and the pair to get the most when the sale hits the stores.

You can not only get the freshest pairs at a reasonable price but also be the first one to the pair. You have to be patient and not just jump on the pair the moment you see it.

Similarly, if you keep the pair of shoes in your Wishlist or cart for a few weeks, you will surely get many offers. This is one of the smartest ways of taking advantage of online shopping and offers.

There are multiple ways in which customers can take advantage of both online as well as offline shopping. However, before looking for offers and deals, make sure you know what exactly your requirements are. Search for the product or pair that you need and make sure you do not end up spending needlessly or pairs that you do not need. If The Shoe Fits: The Dummies Size Guide

Whenever you put your hands on a clothing piece or accessory item, make sure it fits you right! Owning a statement outfit or a trendy pair of Diana Ferrari sneakers is not of much use if you can’t carry it well. And, to be able to carry it well, you need to make sure that it fits you perfectly well. Well, how to pick the right size of footwear?

With multiple brands doing rounds in the fashion market and each brand having its own specifications, figuring out the right fit size can be tough. Yes, there are standard sizes available, and the charts can surely help you pick the right one. However, is that really enough? Read on to find out!

Make sure you refer the right shoe size chart

When it comes to buying your perfect pair of Diana Ferrari sneakers or any other footwear for that matter, don’t just refer to any shoe size chart and make an approximate assumption about your shoe size. That is definitely not a very wise thing to do.

The key is to look up a trustable shoe size chart which has all the different sizes mentioned in a tabular format. This table should contain the comparison and relative sizes of different size charts. That is, UK size, US size, EU size, AU size and other (if any) should be specified alongside each other.

Look through the sizes and their respective foot lengths mentioned to pick the right sized Diana Ferrari sneakers of your choice and stay in style!

What is the right way to measure the foot size?

The idea is to keep your foot comfortably and completely straight on an even surface. Make sure you keep your heel against a straight edge too. Next, place a clean and accurate ruler or measuring scale right next to your foot.

The measuring scale should start right from where the heel is kept against the straight edge. Generally, the measurements specified in the shoe sizing chart are in millimetres. Take note of the length starting from the heel up till the longest toe. (Caution: You longest toe isn’t necessarily the thumb of the foot!)

Measure your foot size and place an order for the fashionable and comfortable Diana Ferrari sneakers today!

Half sizes available for a better fit too!

Over the course of time, the fashion industry has really advanced, and the brands have come up with more feasible and comfortable options for the customers. Not every foot is meant to fit in perfectly well in the regular ‘whole’ shoe sizes.

For people with foot sizes other than the regular ‘whole’ sizes, Diana Ferrari sneakers have shoes available in the half sizes too. One can find sizes like 5.5, 6.5, 7.5 AU sizes in the brand with ease. Various other fashion brands like Clarks and many others offer similar sizing too. This has made the fit more comfortable and better for the customers, thus, enhancing the overall brand sales too.

The ideal width fitting is equally essential

The footwear brands these days have a few categories in the footwear styles as per the width fitting of the shoes. One can see shoe width fitting measurements mentioned as B, C, D, E, EE, etc. Each of these carrying a specific fit.

For the Diana Ferrari sneakers collection available in stores at showrooms as well as online, there are two types of width fittings on offer. They offer a width fitting B, which is the standard width fitting for the shoes. The other width fitting is C. This type offers a wider fitting shoe.

For other shoe brands available in the industry, the variations in the width fitting include Narrow Fit, standard Fit, Wide Fit and Extra Wide Fit. Decide on which type will keep you more comfortable and opt for the shoes accordingly.

Why does the same shoe have a different fit in every person’s feet?

The answer to this question isn’t very difficult. Every person out there has a different foot style! It depends on a person’s body structure. Little variations are bound to be there. However, for quality footwear like Diana Ferrari sneakers, the shoe sizes offered are fairly consistent and cater to a range of foot styles. They are designed in such a manner so that they can flexibly fit in well on most of the feet.

Apart from the foot style, the material of the shoes also plays a role in sizing. A person might find a canvas material shoe of AU size 6 to be perfect for him/ her. And, the same person might find a leather shoe in the same size to be tighter and less comfortable for his feet.

Hence, this is another example where the width fitting of the shoe comes into play.

Do flat feet or an instep make a difference too?

Having flat feet can be an issue. However, they do not make much difference in the shoe size you would be opting for. As an additional perk for you all, the Diana Ferrari sneakers are made to give extreme comfort and facilitate ease of walking. Thus, for those of you with a flat foot, the collection is perfect for you! It will help you stay in style at the same time, keeping a tab on your foot health!

For those of you with a higher instep, a shoe type like loafers or any open footwear would be a wise choice. Or, you could buy any closed shoe with adjustment facility available, be it Velcro or some stylish buckles. Again, Diana Ferrari sneakers would offer you the adjustment you have been looking for to cover up your instep comfortably.

To get yourself the trendiest Diana Ferrari sneakers or any stylish footwear in the fashion market, Music Room Shoes should be your go-to place! Check out the styles available on the site and make your pick for the most comfortable fit for yourself!

Types of footwear leather. What advantages does each one offer?

When we go to buy shoes for delicate feet, whether diabetic feet or any other type of problem, the specialists always recommend us to wear leather shoes, but, why? What are the advantages of using this type of footwear versus another with synthetic materials?

Order your shoes today here at Music Room Shoes and wait for them at home.

4 reasons to wear leather shoes

  • Leather is a natural material more flexible and soft than any synthetic material, so it adapts much better to any type of foot, and as a consequence, to any type of problem that we have.
  • Leather is a breathable, absorbent and porous material, so it allows the foot to perspire and absorbs sweat, creating a constant feeling of freshness and comfort. Due to these virtues, it maintains the temperature of the feet, keeping the feet warm in winter and cooler in summer.
  • Being softer and more flexible, the leather is more durable than synthetic materials. These, after many hours of use, tend to crack due to the folds caused by the natural walk of people. If you also clean the leather with the right materials will last much longer.
  • Leather shoes do not usually have internal seams, so you will avoid chafing, wounds and blisters that these can cause.

Types of footwear leather types

Lamp Leather

The Spanish lamb leather is very appreciated internationally. It is a very fine and soft leather with little shine. It is a very elastic material so it is usually used for linings and flexible shoes. Usually have very muted colours, so the most attractive is black.

Advantages: Its main attraction is that it is an insulating leather that provides great comfort. It helps keep the heat, so it is very appropriate to combat cold feet in winter. Absorbs moisture from the feet leaving your feet dry in summer.

Vaccine leather

It is a slightly oiled leather. The country that best tanned is the United States. It is a very thick type of leather from which several layers can be removed, although the most used is the outer leather. The main type of cow leather is called “box-calf”. It is a large and very strong leather, so it is the most usable. It has a soft touch and a certain rigidity, with a solid and yet malleable structure.

Advantages: The main advantage it brings is the durability, due to its high resistance to perforation. In addition, it is a breathable and comfortable leather, with a high resistance to wear. Its elastic and resistant fabric makes it perfect for more solid shoes for daily use and sports.

Cowhide leather is also used for soles. These leathers are hardened by tanning processes for greater durability, providing a high degree of perspiration, mainly in times of more heat and when you spend long periods of time on carpet or parquet floors.

Goat Leather

They are leathers coming from India, however Spain is considered the best tanner. It is usually used in dress shoes because they can be very bright. They are very thin leathers and therefore very flexible. There are two types of goat leather:

  • Tafilete: Very small leathers of very fine grain.
  • Dóngola: They are older and fatter. Tanned leather of superior quality to the morocco, it is more flexible and very bright.

Advantages: The main advantage is its superior quality thanks to its compact structure and its excellent touch. In addition, thanks to its flexibility is a very resistant leather. It is used in the manufacture of high-priced footwear.

Deer Leather

The characteristic that attracts the attention of deer leather is its softness. But it is also surely one of the most flexible leathers, which leads to a perfect fit at the foot of each person. It offers a superior comfort to the cow and is more practical, but it is also more difficult to clean.

Advantages: Thanks to its greater flexibility it adapts 100% to the shape of our foot with its constant use. This is a great advantage for people with callus and bunion problems, since this type of leather will adapt perfectly to the protuberances without causing pain or discomfort. Comfort is a determining factor.

Types of leather for interior linings

The lining of the footwear is very important. It is the material most in contact with our feet and a good choice of it will result in good perspiration and prevent sweating and even possible allergies on our feet. The shoe becomes more expensive, but when the footwear is focused on solving the different problems of the foot, the leather lining is an inevitable element.

  • Porcine lining: It is one of the most used for its adaptability. They are very durable leathers and they give very good results.
  • Cowhide lining: This type of lining is more breathable and somewhat more durable.

Currently the different manufacturers are beginning to introduce in their models technical materials such as microfiber, which is an anti-allergic material and are recommended for diabetic feet and for people who for different allergies do not support the leather lining. This type of microfiber is beginning to offer the same benefits as the leather, with a power of adaptability and subjection equal to or better than the leather lining that is placed in the shoes of the best firms.

Basic leather care

The leather requires basic care to maintain all its natural properties. With them, we will achieve, in addition to a better appearance, greater durability and a better use of its advantages.

It is necessary to protect the materials with a regular cleaning for a perfect conservation, which will result in greater durability of the shoe. Many leather types are cut and deteriorated because they dry as a result of not hydrating them with appropriate products.

With the help of creams, you can nourish leather and preserve the colour of the leather. When the models come with colours or combined materials, the colourless creams are very useful. For shoes of a single colour, it is preferable to apply the concrete tone of the shoe.

What you need to know about the first date and why you must choose an Italian restaurant

It is the first time and everything has to be very -but very- thought about. Nothing can go wrong, at least you should try. Do you already know where you are going to take him to dinner?

The time has come to set time and decide where to go. It has touched you and you no longer have a possible escape; all responsibility falls on you (but no pressure). The questions follow one another, we assume: do we have dinner? We eat? We drank some beers? A few wines? The possibilities are endless, but when the moment of truth approaches the subject seems to be complicated (and much). Who said that the first appointments were an easy task?

The first thing you should do is to think about the tastes of the other person (the one who has given you the first appointment) and the second to turn around in your head (many laps), start thinking about places, call and reserve, all for the same order. If something is important is that everything seems like improvised, although the thing has taken hours and hours of preparation. It would be good to make clear some basic points, here our gastronomic decalogue for the first appointment (that is to come).

Know what would be astonishing for a first date? Delicious dishes from all kinds of cuisines coming together with an excellent environment for eating and having a great soirée. We are located in 118 Norton Street, Leichhardt, Sydney. If you want to make a reservation you can call at: (02) 9560 7957 and we will be happy to have you within our guests for another wonderful night here in At Fernando’s.

  1. The best option is to stay for dinner, that’s why the low light

Here the shame is general. Nerves, on a first date, are more than usual. For this reason, it seems that this is already taken for granted, that there is no need to go further: the perfect time is dinner time. Stay for breakfast is totally ruled out (not hours, not even the time of brunch), the lunch hour seems too serious and snack is perhaps a little cheesy.

  1. If you think dinner is too much, try a few beers (or wine) for the first contact

Many are lazy and others think that having dinner (on the first date) is too much haste. Another option, no less successful, is to stay for a few beers (or some wines). The thing will be more relaxed and it will not seem like we are on a ‘first date’. A bar or restaurant with relaxed atmosphere is the perfect place to stay, have a few beers and who knows if it ends up stinging something in your letter.

  1. Choose a place with atmosphere, so that it does not seem like you’re on a ‘first date’

If there is something that cannot happen, under no circumstances, is that a first date seems like a first date. If the place you have chosen for dinner is empty, that will happen that should never happen and possibly turn everything into a real disaster. Therefore, it is essential that on your list of possible places to go on a first date (we will write this list someday, to make it easier) are targeted locals with a lot of atmosphere, those you have to call to book in advance and that will ensure people and background noise, very necessary for a first time.

  1. Escape from that place you always go to and where everyone knows you

It is very obvious, but sometimes we are so hooked to a place that we do not want to let go for the first date. It would be good to look for places you do not usually go to and where you will not find (cross fingers) one of those ex or funny friends, who can ruin your night. In addition, it is the perfect time to try new sites and leave, for a moment, those who already know you perfectly. It is clear that there are places to go with a date and places that never go.

  1. Never ask for a hamburger, you will see your worst image

It is not about stipulating what you should or should not ask for in the letter, it would be more. But it is true that a first date is not made to order a hamburger and devour it, as you would with your friends. The important thing is to ask for dishes to share and, above all, do not do a disservice (as can happen with a double hamburger of meat, with tomato, onion and overflowing with ketchup).

  1. Everything must be very thoughtful, but it must seem like improvised

The expected date is Friday night, but you have been preparing it since Monday (first hour). You have called ten friends to ask for advice, you have gone through the instagrams of the main gastronomic recommendations blogs and you have gone through all the websites of restaurants to read their letters over and over again (And what can I ask for everything to go well?). All this is very good, a field work more than necessary, but once booked the restaurant should seem as if everything was improvised. If they ask you, you should smile and say: “Everything has been so easy”.

For many people, Italian food is synonymous with romance and the perfect date, but the truth is that beyond love, the ingredients, smells and flavours of the cuisine of this European country have the goal of uniting people no matter if they are couples, friends or relatives. Remember that Italian food can’t go wrong since it is extremely delicious and very appealing for people with any type of taste.

When you want to try some delicious Italian dishes cooked by professionals for a first day, you have to visit At Fernando’s to taste some of the most delicious dishes in the city.

How to Handle Stress in Poker

Stress is one of the aspects that are part of poker and that cannot be avoided, so it is necessary to learn to live with it and to control it. You can not avoid stress, but you can learn to control it

Poker players cannot avoid the stress of playing poker, indeed, they do not really want to do it either because a little pressure is necessary to not play with too much relaxation and make unnecessary mistakes.

The player needs to understand stress in order to learn to control it and keep his emotions at a level that does not adversely affect his game. You have to try to keep it at a comfortable level so that the concentration increases but without spoiling the game and the game.

A few years ago, Andy Beal, a Dallas billionaire challenged the best poker players in the world to head-to-head games with chilling money sums. Beal is one of the richest men on the planet and had a very particular goal, to try to force professional players to overcome the limits of stress to get them out of their comfortable zone of play.

To counter Andy Beal, the players joined financially and in the game they took turns, in this way the stress and tension of the game was shared among all. After the games played, Beal returned to Texas with several million less in the pockets since the players, especially Phil Ivey, showed their potential and won Andy Beal in the direct confrontation.

In this case we have seen that professional players are able to handle the pressure and did not lower their level of play despite playing in really high limits of money.

Remember that these types of games can be an excellent way to lose stress while earning some money, check our website for more information!

What type of factors can cause stress?

Normally the money invested can be a factor that affects stress, but there is an example that draws attention and shows that there is no need to go the stress associated with the impact on the budget: Bill Gates, the co-founder of Microsoft and one of the richest men on the planet.

Bill Gates is a regular poker player who could sit in the games with more money in bets without his pocket being hurt, but he is known in Seattle, where he usually enjoys poker, which does not usually sit at tables of more than $ 10 / 20 $ since he has acknowledged that he does not feel comfortable playing at higher levels.

Probably he has not investigated about stress, but he has found a game in which his level of stress is manageable and does not affect his game, without being due in this case to the repercussion of the gains or losses in his final budget since he could play at tables of much more money without his economy noticing it in the least.

Two key points when analysing stress

  1. Stress is not necessarily bad, but it is another emotion that, knowing how to handle it can be beneficial for the player.

  1. With the same amount of pressure you can feel completely different emotions, but not only in different players, but the same person can have different sensations in a similar context.

Both statements sound strange and it may seem impossible to handle stress situations, but it is really not that difficult to understand why there are players who are better than others, especially when it comes to stress situations.

Stress is not bad by nature

As we have indicated in point one, stress is just another emotion, so it does not necessarily have to be bad. Studies show that a too high amount of stress is bad for any human being, but the reality is not so simple, but it is a little more complicated.

Stress, when it does not exceed limits that can be tolerated by the player, can be a very important motivating factor, there are even people who, when they are in situations of stress close to these limits, can do unimaginable things from the positive point of view, without being the game of poker an exception.

There have been cases in which due to the high level of stress and adrenaline there have been parents who have taken their children out of a burning car even with a broken leg, but there are situations in which stress is not an ally, but rather It can be an enemy, as in an operation, so a surgeon needs to control his emotional stress when he is operating someone to life or death.

In poker you have to know how to handle stress in order to act as if you were in both situations since you have to know how to throw yourself into the fire in some cases, while the rest of the time you have to be calm and choose the decision that, thought Coldly, more benefits offer the player statistically speaking.

In short, this point means that sometimes you have to keep your head cool and act with absolute precision as if you were a surgeon, while in others it is necessary to act in a risky way to take advantage of the situation.

Stress depends on the task to be performed

Known in the world of psychology as Interaction, the level of stress is often influenced by the task at hand. According to the law of Yerkes-Dodson, known as such by the two psychologists who formulated it, stress is intimately related to the difficulty of the task to be performed.

As with Goldilocks with the three bears in the well-known children’s story where you need to always be at the intermediate level of both temperature (not too cold or too hot) and hardness (neither too hard nor too soft), The poker player must know how to situate himself in an intermediate point of stress.

If a person has a permanent adrenaline rush when playing poker, he will act at all times as the father who wants to save his son from the flames, being harmful to him, while if he plays passively and without motivation, his lack of aggressiveness will not help either, so it is necessary to be able to find the middle term where the player is rational but is able to risk when it is due.

Two examples of stress level limits

  1. Play with too low a level of stress.

There are many players of levels $ 5 / $ 10 that when faced in tables of $ 1 / $ 2 the players who normally operate in these tables are not able to overcome them. The explanation for this fact is usually that they play with a level of stress that is too low, that the result does not affect them enough so that their level of play is not optimal.

These players in this situation act as if the game was not with them, so they do not have the minimum level of tension and act as if the situation was not important enough for them, so they do not get to interfere in the game. necessary to be able to get the most out of it.

  1. Play with too high a level of stress.

As in the previous case, players who are used to playing at tables of $ 5 / $ 10, tend to get losers when sitting at the $ 10 / $ 25 gaming tables as their stress level rises to exceed the advisable limit.

This happens because the game matters to them too much and the pressure to win is much higher than what they usually have in the usual tables they occupy.

In this case the player has an adrenaline level similar to the father who acts to save his son in flames, saving the distances, but is in an operation where the precision must be exact. Players find that their emotions are too high and the high level of stress makes their game suffer.

Find a serious place such as https://funcasinomelbourne.com.au/ where you can get comfortable and spend some time having fun and winning. You can spend a great time with your friends playing some chance games and earning good money for extra expenses! What is the best time of the year to move?

Planning a move requires a lot of logistics. The transport, the transfer of goods and the installation in the new home or office is not always easy, especially when it must be complemented with other types of responsibilities, such as going to work, taking care of the children or taking them to school. It can be an exhausting task and that is why many are clear about the best time of the year to make the change.

Pros and cons of making a move in summer

For many it is. In the first place, it is a holiday season, which implies having more time to devote to the task of moving the goods from one place to another. In addition, traffic in many cities decreases because people often go on a trip or to the beach to take advantage of the hottest days of the year.

The flexibility offered by this season allows families to settle in time and leave everything ready for when the post-holiday routine returns. The problem is that everyone has the same idea and that many companies close for vacations, so the summer can be a complicated time to get a quick and smooth move.

Dates are usually reserved well in advance and the availability of moving companies is more limited. Some even make additional charges to guarantee the service on dates that are already reserved.

Why it is better to move in winter

Many people discard the changes in winter because the weather and daily work can complicate logistics. However, all the procedures related to changes of address are usually much lighter and faster in this season of the year.

As the number of people moving during these dates is lower, the administrative paperwork is completed more quickly. On the other hand, moving services tend to have lower demand, especially in large cities. The lack of demand represents a benefit for customers because they have many more dates available to contract the service and can get attractive offers quite competitive.

It is important to know well the company that is hired, the different services offered, the professionalism of its employees and if it meets the requirements. For this the best thing is always to look for references on the internet and consult the opinions of other clients who have contracted their services.

Companies like Adelaide Furniture Removals stand out for making sustainable removals in Australia and surrounding areas with good results. This is a specialized company with demonstrable experience, guarantee seriousness and offer the best customer service to minimize the stress generated by a move, whether from a family home or a company.

When it comes to trusting your own assets to a third party, you have to make sure you choose correctly to avoid possible problems. Non-professional moving services may be cheaper at first, but they also generate more insecurity and offer fewer guarantees throughout the process.

What about moving to another state or country?

Carrying out an international move is a complex task that involves the previous planning of many aspects and in which many procedures to manage come into play. Often, deciding a certain time of the year in which to carry out the transfer of all our belongings can mean a certain cost savings and bring some advantages that will help make the move more bearable.

The winter months are usually the best option for an international move. Basically the advantage of this time of the year is that the volume of removals is not so high, therefore it is possible to find very competitive offers and there is more availability of dates for the transfer.

Another important aspect is the care of our furniture and furnishings. During the summer, there are companies that have the need to hire new staff constantly to meet the high demand for the service. Otherwise it happens in the winter, when the personnel is the most habitual, therefore more experienced and offers more security in the transport of our belongings.

Disadvantages of moving in summer

The holiday periods, which mostly coincide with the summer dates, are the ones that demand more of this type of services, so the prices of the removals tend to increase. In addition, if you do not plan well in advance it is quite complicated to organize a move, because the requests for this type of service is high, although there are exceptional cases in which paying an extra it is possible to make changes outside of the previous planning.

Whether in summer or winter, the important thing is to ensure that the entire transfer procedure proceeds quickly, efficiently and, above all, with the assurance that all the furniture and furnishings move with total guarantee of not suffering damage.

In short, it is about getting time to pay without the need to pay for a service excessively, but without ignoring the quality of it and the necessary guarantees to get a move in the deadlines previously agreed and with all the security of working with expert personnel in the displacement of our belongings.

International economic move

Getting a cheap international moving will depend fundamentally on the destination and the type of shipment. A small move to Europe can come at a good price if you are not in a hurry, as there is the possibility of grouping or combinations of charges to adjust costs. Even to certain destinations in America, Africa or Asia, there is the possibility of obtaining economic prices provided that the means of transport is maritime and with the option of groupage or consolidated transport.

International maritime removals are cheaper, although the transit time is usually longer. In the middle are the international terrestrial changes that fluctuate between 2-5 days if they are exclusive and around 10-15 days if they are combined or in groupage. As for international air removals, they are a good option when they are low volume, they are more expensive but they arrive in 5-7 days to transoceanic destinations. Air shipments are ideal for small removals with the most necessary personal effects and it is urgent that they arrive quickly

There are costs in destination that cannot be known until the shipment arrives at port, for example the thc, fees, etc., these costs depend on the shipping company and the days it takes to carry out the customs clearance, therefore It is very difficult to quote them and know them in advance. Likewise, expenses generated by inspections, inspections, strikes, delays due to lack of documentation, bad access at destination, storage not previously contracted, second deliveries, haulage, transhipments due to bad access, etc. are not included.

Here at Adelaide Furniture Removals you will find a team of experienced people who will surely take good care of your valuable belongings while carefully handling them and transporting them to your new place.

Choose fish for a cold water aquarium

The aquarium is, for many, an ideal way to get started in the world of pets. A controlled and simple way, with the necessary guidelines, to be able to enjoy a small aquatic ecosystem that can be, for example, a perfect starting point for the little ones of the house to begin to know the responsibility and commitment that supposes to have an animal.

Precisely, if the recipient of this first aquarium is a child, it is important to correctly choose the most appropriate type of aquarium (we recommend you take a look at this other post on how to choose an aquarium). One that not only serves to start it in the aquarium but also has a simple and accessible maintenance for those who begin to become familiar with the world of fish.

Thinking about them, today we want to help you know how to choose cold water fish for an aquarium. A choice that is due to certain reasons that is also important to know. Remember that taking care of them and keeping the fish tank clean is very important to preserver the health of all your fish. Contact us today if you want to know more about this.

Why choose cold water fish

Unlike hot water fish, cold water fish are much more resistant and need less demanding care. This is mainly because they can live with water at room temperature and do not suffer when fluctuations (between 16 and 24 degrees) in temperature occur.

In addition, and also related to this, the cold water fish are those who suffer less with the adaptation to a new aquarium (which may well be the one in our house). To be able to do it correctly, the ideal is to have a pH7 in the water and a temperature of 18 degrees (although the ideal is always to ask when buying them your specific adaptation needs). An initial warmth that may oscillate slightly throughout the days and, despite not having as much heat need, we can also control with a thermometer (but without the need for a heater).

How to choose fish for a cold water aquarium

Finally, despite the rustic nature of this type of fish, it is important to take two aspects into account. On the one hand, when choosing cold water fish, it is important to select species that are not belligerent with each other so that they can coexist in a peaceful way (and we save many dislikes). An important factor for us to have the advice of an expert before making the final choice of our fish.

In this same line, it will also be important to consider which plants are ideal for our fish selection. Unlike tropical fish, some cold water fish tend to eat plants that are part of the aquarium and this gesture can be harmful to them. Good reason, again, to consult with an aquarium specialist in our centre, Guppy’s Aquarium Products which plants are the best for our fish.

Cold water fish perfect for an aquarium

Unlike the popular belief, cold water fish do not detract anything from hot water in terms of beauty and beauty. It is possible to enjoy the same intensity of colours and exoticism even if it is not tropical fish.

We will discover some of the most common and, not for that, less beautiful.

Goldfish

It is a descendant of the carp and, despite the apparent prejudice, there are many types of Goldfish although it is usually generalised by its orange character and similarities of appearance. Unlike what is believed and what happens in many homes, the Goldfish needs a good size aquarium since they require a lot of oxygen (a good reason to run away from the typical round fish tanks). They are not complicated fish when it comes to feeding and, with proper care, can live between 6 and 8 years. What is important is that they have at least one partner in the aquarium, since they are social fish.

Chinese neon

An ideal companion for Goldfish fish. Like the latter, the Chinese Neons are social fish so it is advisable that, if you decide to have them in our aquarium, consider having at least one group of seven. Striking and cheerful, the Chinese Neons are also simple to take care of and undemanding in their needs (they support temperatures between 15 and 20 degrees). The only precaution that we will have to have with them is that they are constantly jumping, so it is most advisable that our aquarium has a lid to avoid dislikes.

Betta Spledens

Despite its tropical character, Betta Spledens fish adapt perfectly to cold water. Unlike the fish we have seen before, the Betta (also called as “Siam Wrestlers”) are aggressive, so they coexist badly with other fish species. If we want to have them in our aquarium, it is important to know that the ideal is to have a male and a maximum of three females. Yes, we will have to be careful since they reproduce easily.

Fish Telescope

It is, perhaps, one of the most unique cold water fish. For your body (with eyes protruding from the body), it is important to control that the decoration of our aquarium does not have sharp edges that can damage your eyes. It is easy to take care of and is not demanding with your diet, but we will have to take into account that you need to eat several times at the end of the day and that, every so often, we will have to change your diet (they are prone to bladder problems). With the necessary care, they can live up to 10 years.

Remember that Guppy’s Aquarium Products is the top online shop where you can buy anything you need for your aquarium from the comfort of your house and have the most remarkable and eye-catching fish tanks to astonish all your guests and have them asking you how to have such a wonderful fish tank at home.

Know the fabrics that are ideal for winter

In these days and nights that we have ahead, we mean, winter, the whole family looks for clothes that are both hot and practical to take to work or school. In addition, they want to be good for the skin and look elegant.

To take into account all the options, today we will provide you with the guidelines to know which materials are the best to choose our winter clothes. Find top quality wool and more for your creations here at Yarns on Collie. If you need more information to get started in the world of knitting you can contact us and we’ll be happy to help you. Wear quality fabrics for colder weathers.

Cotton

It is the king of natural tissues, the softest and the one that avoids allergies. Ideal to be in contact with the skin. Cotton does not retain heat, that is, it does not perspire the person.

Cotton fabrics are the most comfortable and successful. Depending on the thickness, they can be worn in winter or summer. Combined they can be used for coats, because for a shape with more structure it needs other fibres.

Wool

The wool can also be 100 percent natural or mixed with some synthetic elements. Being more natural, it is more spicy, but it is usually placed on other garments so that it does not have direct contact with the skin. Wool shelters against cold excellently.

The alpaca is the finest, softest and most flexible wool, it has no weight or volume and it warms. Warm sweaters are usually made of sheep’s wool.

Thinking about the outerwear, the wool is different, such as the astrakhan (baby lamb wool, with slightly wavy hair) or the mohair (of angora goat hair). Wool-based fabrics are also used, like the alpaca cloth.

According to the pattern of these fabrics to be used in coats or jackets, the style is Scottish, with prints of houndstooth (square figures with lines that resemble crow’s feet), vichy (mottled, striped and checkered) and tweed (small pictures).

Polyester and synthetics

Although there are many fabrics in which polyester is mixed with other fibres, these fabrics are not the best for the coat, because they retain heat and the person transpires. It does not let the skin breathe, say the specialists.

Fleece

One of the fabrics that are used a lot for children and large is the polar, which is also a type of polyester. This fabric is not recommended for garments that go directly to the skin, much less in pajamas, because it makes the skin breathe and, with the cold of dawn, the person cools and gets sick.

In addition, the polar in garments is fine only for casual moments. Synthetic leathers are used more in details of winter garments, since they are not very economical.

Waterproof

The waterproof jackets or jackets with fibre filling are good for heating this winter but being synthetic they are not suitable for direct contact with the skin. They are usually used on cotton garments or mixed with cotton. Thus, the sweat will remain on the cotton but will not perspire.

Rayon or viscose

Rayon is a semisynthetic fabric, it is good for the changing climate because it does not penetrate the wind, cold or water. It is used in jackets and coats; It is light and flexible. It is special for rainy days.

Nylon fabric

It is known for its thermal use. This fabric is synthetic, but because it is thin, it can be put in contact with the skin because it does not generate perspiration. There are thermal shirts that are used inside garments, as an extra protection against the cold.

Flannels

The flannel or cotton flannel is soft and is used in different garments, it is natural and constitutes a good alternative to the polar fabric.

Technological fabrics

These tissues arise from laboratory investigations. There is a wide range, there are even smart fabrics for athletes and with important functions such as anti-microbial and UV protection.

These fabrics have had designer stamp, since they have been used by Paco Rabane and Prada, for example.

Sustainable fashion

One of the trends in vogue is the use of fibres woven with recyclable plastic materials, creating fashion and industry that favours the environment, also considering the carbon footprint left. Synthetic garments can be used on cotton.

Being well sheltered and responding adequately to the cold environment produces a body microclimate that favours from muscle function to the prevention of the dreaded falls of winter. In any activity in which you are well insulated from the cold, neither muscle strength, nor endurance nor physical performance are affected.

On the other hand, if you are poorly dressed or you still do not know the key points of your body that you should shelter more, the ability to develop muscular strength, as well as the ability to coordinate are affected.

Consequently, in the cold you will try to do things “faster” (to conserve heat) but in an uncoordinated way, increasing the risk of injury.

The decrease in body temperature reduces, in turn, the speed of nerve conduction, the temperature of the skin and muscle tissue, making you have to invest between 30 to 42% of additional time to achieve maximum contraction.

For example, if you’re cold and need to walk fast to get somewhere, you’ll spend more time doing it because your muscles are not in the best temperature conditions to make it possible, plus you increase the risk of injury from the decrease of coordination.

One of the obligatory tracks to improve our muscular function in the winter is to dress warmly … and leave home. The muscles are the tip of the iceberg, your cardiovascular health and the risk of obesity are always latent factors.

Here at Yarns on Collie you’ll find second to none wool that absorbs and releases moisture to cool or warm the body. It will feel hot quickly, but not overheated, thanks to the exceptional properties of fabric transpiration. Synthetic fibres such as polypropylene or polyester do not have this ability to transpire, absorb or release moisture. It can be very suffocating.

What is a business review? How would they affect you?

The initial question is, what is a review?

The reviews are the comments, mentions, opinions or descriptions about your company, and are generally made by users through google.

The main function of a review is to give more visibility to your business, confidence and credibility, this fact is greater if the reviews are positive.

In many occasions we give it the importance it deserves, but reviews are a key factor for both the employer and the user, as it is a great help when making your last step in the purchase process.

Reviews in google are represented with stars, specifically with 5, with one being the minimum and five the maximum score. Get the 5 stars and a good comment helps the business, mainly because of the good reputation that is created on it and on the other hand, the positive reviews reinforce the credibility and reliability to the users.

Five or more positive reviews on the Google My Business page will be very important for your company or online store.

Remember that here at Website Connection we can help you set up your online store and improve your sales volume considerably.

Why are reviews important?

One of the main reasons is because they help and facilitate SEO positioning, with this means that Google takes into account the reviews when positioning among the first results, especially in Google Maps.

Another important reason is the comment in the previous section, the purchase decision making. If a potential client is considering purchasing a product or contracting a service from your company, the reviews you have will give you the last push to make your purchase. It is clear that you get better results if the reviews are positive, a fact that will lead the client to choose you before the competition.

The reviews are a fundamental part of the business, although we think that it does not contribute anything, it is totally the opposite, we cannot go beyond them because they are a source of information to which at least you must attend and answer. The reviews speak of your business, of how people have received what you have wanted to show.

You have to think that the review is the opinion of the customer experience in our business. This will allow us to analyse the defects and virtues of our business, which means that errors can be solved and continue improving day by day.

There is researches, 85% of people read reviews before buying and 65% read an average of 6 reviews of the purchase. The importance of the reviews are more than we think, they are usually the culprits of creating a reputation for the entity.

How should you answer all the reviews?

This step is practically the most important, you cannot forget that everyone has different opinions and what if one of them is negative, do not get nervous, angry, or respond in a negative way. What you should do is try to understand what has happened and how to solve it, since negative opinions, if they are sincere, also help to improve the business and gain more negative opinions. Some tips on how to respond:

  • Do not rush, but you have to answer as soon as possible.
  • Always with professionalism and intelligence.
  • Of course, with education.
  • With brevity Being concise and precise is a positive note, since with it you show that you know what you are talking about.
  • Always trying to ask what the problem has been and try to find a solution.

In addition, it is good that you try to transform negative opinions by responding to them with an apology and proposing some possible solution.

First of all, do not write false comments. Google will realise sooner or later, which will be truly detrimental to your web positioning.

A bad review of your business, loss of clients or an opportunity to improve?

Nowadays all businesses can be qualified. It does not matter if we are on social networks or not, whether our company is digital or not. From the neighbourhood hairdresser to the corner bar or the plumber who came to our house may have comments that qualify them as professionals. Sometimes even negative, a bad review that we can take as a stain that will make us lose customers or an opportunity to improve.

Not only does it remain in the client-company relationship, but the rating system also reaches labor relations. Some of the apps of searches of employment from the mobile use it so that both employees and business are noted. So both know what they face when there is a vacancy to cover. A worker who has qualified other companies and a business where other employees have already left their valuation.

But the most common is to see reviews of our business on pages like Google Maps, TripAdvisor, Amazon or similar. The good rating of the business has a direct impact on the sales we are going to have. Similarly, a bad criticism is also a problem for many establishments, especially if it is not treated properly.

It is true that there may be dishonest practices, competitive companies that put comments or malicious or directly false. Or clients who try to extort money from the business by threatening bad reviews. But they are a minority. Most of the negative reviews will have a reason based on the dissatisfaction of the customers.

And this information is what we should try to take advantage of. On the one hand, responding to these customers on the platform itself, with an explanation of their complaints or even giving them the reason if we see that they have it. Contacting them to offer compensation in these cases is a good idea.

Because instead of refusing to accept the evidence, we have to use it to improve our service, our production or even communication with the client. It is an opinion study by which many companies would pay a lot of money and others have it at their disposal and are unable to use it in their favour.

If you want to create your online store or website or want to improve the one you already have, contact us here.

Advertising on social networks, real-time strategies and more

Where is our audience? The majority is in social networks. This means that we cannot leave social ads out of our advertising investment strategy. Remember, Google and Facebook are the two major advertising platforms today in the digital environment.

Advertising on Facebook. It is the queen of social networks and many companies will not be able to leave Facebook Ads aside. The possibilities of campaigns, types of objectives and formats, the variety of audience segmentations and many other parameters allow us to impact our target right at the right time.

Advertising on Twitter. Twitter Ads is one of the most interesting current platforms for advertising. With a stable audience and very focused on the news. The first place where you will find what is happening in the world is on Twitter. Although it is true that the growth of users has stagnated, the community of this social media is very active. A medium-high target, well trained and concerned about the here and now. You will find that Twitter followers are very valuable to your company.

Advertising on LinkedIn. The professional network par excellence on an international level. Most managers and employees have posted their CVs on this network and use it to conduct networking. With LinkedIn Ads you will find a target very well segmented and predisposed to listen to your message, yes, the media costs are a little higher than in other social networks, but with an excellent ROI.

Instagram advertising. The most fashionable social network at the moment. The millennial generation is very present in Instagram and is very active. In addition, the growth of users does not stop growing. The ideal advertising platform for any company with a target between 18 and 35 years. Do not leave Instagram Ads aside.

Online Advertising Agency. Do not know what agency to choose? You want to better understand how companies in the digital advertising sector work. So, keep this concept in mind and discover more about the subject.

Advertising campaign. Texts, copy, images, videos, segmentation, advertising channels, etc. These are concepts very associated with an advertising campaign. It is understood as a group of creations and ideas that are made with the aim of selling a product or service.

Online advertising or Digital Advertising. Advertising in the digital environment or on the internet is called online advertising or digital advertising. Discover the differences between traditional advertising and that focused on the network.

Types of advertising. There are many types of advertising or advertising actions, but yes, they should be used at the right time within the user’s conversion funnel, because each advertising format is more effective in one phase or another (in the TOFU, MOFU or BOFU). To discover the types of advertising for the internet and when they should be used, it is best to discover how the Funnel Advertising methodology works.

The advertising strategy

The design phase of the campaign, or advertising strategy consists of different processes that we analyse below. Although businesses that are not from the marketing sector do not give much importance to this aspect, without a good initial approach it will be very difficult to achieve the results expected by advertising.

  • Copy strategy: in this process the main idea of the campaign is defined. It must include the objectives of the brand to be sent to the creative team that will transform that initial proposal into a final advertising content.
  • Creative strategy: once the product is obtained in the previous phase, it is analysed by the creative department in two phases. The first one is the content. That is the responsibility of the “copies”, betting on creating messages and arguments that convince the end user. The second is coding. In this process the message of the copy is transformed into a final art that can include images, videos, infographics or specific typographies. It is all the part of the visual design carried out by the advertising creatives.
  • Media strategy: defined the two previous steps is to specify in what media the campaign already designed will be published. Everything will depend on the objectives of scope and segmentation that the company needs. The ideal is to analyse all the options until you find the perfect planning.

The language of advertising

When a brand is clear that it wants to invest in advertising, it is not enough to be clear about the message to communicate in a specific strategy. Within the creative strategy, important coding processes are carried out that transform business proposals into stories with content to communicate. The advertising language is very important to achieve connect with the public. Nobody would dream of launching an ad that says, “Buy me please.” Although this is the corporate goal. You have to transform that proposal before launching it into the market.

Differences between online and offline advertising

With the advent of the Internet, a series of advertising formats appeared that are grouped into the concept of online advertising. Precisely one of the most important differences between advertising typologies is that. If the medium or support used in a campaign is on the network, then we talk about online advertising. Otherwise, those campaigns are referred to as offline advertising actions.

A good advertising campaign can count on both types to achieve its objectives. However, for a series of reasons that we specify below, investment in online media and supports has been increasing in recent years. Every time companies are asked about their budgets for advertising, it is almost always verified that, year after year, a greater investment in the network is considered.

The cost. It is clear that with all the different types of offline and online advertising, you cannot generalise. There are more and less expensive actions. But, on a regular basis, the Internet can achieve high effectiveness at a much more reasonable price than in conventional advertising campaigns.

Direct conversion vs. hint. One of the most important differences between the paid communication that is broadcast in traditional media with respect to Internet advertising is in the type of conversion. In the network, the user is exposed to a campaign with which he can interact immediately. For example: see an ad, click on it, go to the store and buy. This cannot be achieved with the other advertising typology.

Metrics and contracting methods. The statistics of digital advertising are extremely accurate and can be easily obtained. All data, of all users, are accessible to the advertiser. In offline campaigns it is not possible to obtain them. In fact, companies must comply with a representative sample of users’ reach, as is the case, for example, with TV ratings. In addition, online advertising can be contracted almost immediately. In traditional media you have to have more time for publication.

Real-time adjustments Another advantage of the digital world is focused on the adjustments of advertising campaigns over time. With the specific analysis through metrics, a company can change its investment strategy in a matter of minutes if it has opted for paid communication online.

Scope of the target. The discussion about the scope between online and offline advertising is still on the table. It is true that for digital ads to reach the public, they must have Internet. And that can be a barrier. However, it is no less true that the network allows a broad segmentation with which to reach those segments of the population considered specific target. The opposite occurs in offline media. They are capable of reaching large masses of the population, but without concrete filters.

Advertising is a necessity for businesses. It is necessary to design strategies specifically designed for your products in order to make them known and create a good reputation for them in the target market. As you have seen, it is not such a simple process. That is why we recommend you entrust this task to professionals specialised in the sector that offer you the best results. Professionals like the ones you will find here at Website Connection.

How to eliminate spiders at home

Spiders are one of the arthropods that are most often found in homes and enclosures of all kinds. Knowing how to eliminate spiders at home is a guarantee of a clean and sanitised house.

Here at Brisbane Terminator we will provide you with the services you need in order to ensure the order and having a hygienic workspace or house.

First of all, we must clarify that not everything that we identify as a spider in our home is actually a spider. We commonly confuse the opilionids with spiders. This arthropod that looks like a very long-legged spider is from the arachnid family but not a spider, we do not weave cloth and although its size may impress because of the length of its legs, it lacks poisonous glands.

The spiders that we commonly find in our homes do not represent a health hazard, except for those people who are allergic to their bite. In any case it is better to avoid touching them since they can bite us when feeling threatened. The reaction to the bite varies according to the sensitivity of the person but swelling and itching commonly occurs. In Spain, there are only a few types of spider whose bite is important:

The European black widow (Latrodectus tredecimguttatus): is also called bloody spider due to the characteristic spots of his abdomen. The effect of its poison varies according to the geographical race, the inoculated amount and the season of the year. There are no known deaths associated with his bite.

The yellow coat spider (Cheiracanthium punctorium): whose sting is as painful as a wasp’s.

The violinist spider (Loxosceles rufescens): also called brown recluse spider. It is called a violinist spider because of the shape of that instrument that has its torso. It is one of the poisonous spiders that sometimes break into homes to find shelter and food.

Usually hiding behind furniture and does not attack unless you feel threatened. In the case of a bite, it is recommended to go to a medical centre carrying the specimen; even if he is dead. Although most reactions are mild, allergic people can suffer serious consequences, such as gangrene.

The wolf spider (Lycosa tarantula): it is a spider with a bad name, perhaps because of its size and the fact that it is a tarantula. This species actually shuns humans and its bite causes a pain similar to a bee sting.

The tegenaria campestre (Tegenaria or Eratigena agrestis): it is called the vagabond spider and is a tiny spider (8-15 mm.) That is rarely found at home, being more common to find it in gardens. Its dangerousness has been much discussed since in the United States it was considered dangerous and causing necrosis. Nowadays it is known that its poison does not have a special danger.

A separate issue is that the presence of spiders is often associated with dirt, which is increased by cobwebs and dust accumulation on this fabric. It must be clarified that not all species of spiders make them, since there are species that prefer to live in burrows, holes between furniture and cracks.

We must be aware that spiders are carnivorous. Its presence is indicative of other household pests, such as ants, flies, mosquitoes and other insects that serve as food.

How to eliminate spiders at home

Eliminating spiders at home is a task that except for large infestations we can carry out ourselves. The guidelines to follow are simple:

  • Clean: we must act especially in places where dust accumulates and stays of little use. Spiders in general do not like to interact with larger animals in size so they prefer to settle in quiet places. Pay attention to storage rooms and wardrobes in which we store clothes and appliances from another season. Naturally we must remove the cobwebs we observe.
  • Avoid storing firewood at home: it is very common to find spiders hidden among the logs. If you have a woodshed or cabin for this purpose, it stores the wood there and introduces only the one that will be consumed at home.
  • Be careful with introducing pots and garden objects into your home: if you are going to introduce plants or objects that have been outdoors during the warm seasons, check them carefully.
  • Eliminate food sources: as we have mentioned, spiders are carnivorous so they may be feeding on ants and other common insects at home. Gel insecticides are useful for eliminating ants and other crawling insects. To eliminate flies systematically we can use insecticides in granulated baits, which attract and eliminate them.
  • Use insecticides: when we see a spider, it is best to use an insecticide for spider spray. Always avoid crushing them with your hand to avoid bites or irritation of the skin by the poison. If you try to crush it with a shoe, you run the risk of it escaping (many spiders are very fast) or of jumping (some are aggressive when feeling threatened).

If we see cobwebs, we will proceed, once we clean the area, to spray with a persistent insecticide ready to use, a spider repellent that will avoid given its permanence that the spiders return to that place.

What to do if a spider bites you

If along with the injection of venom, the spider expels gastric contents, the symptoms and damages can be aggravated, since it increases the likelihood of tissue necrosis taking place by the combination of the active substances of the venom and the gastric juices of the spider. The expulsion of the gastric content is the usual way of feeding the spiders, which digest their prey outside the digestive system, forming a kind of semiliquid pap that they then ingest.

The age of the person affected by a recluse spider bite also influences the damage produced, being more severe in children, the elderly, and people with hypersensitivity or allergy to the poison.

Bear in mind that if you want professionals to take care of any issue related to spiders or other insects in your house, you can contact us. Here at Brisbane Terminator we will provide you with the services you need to ensure the order and having a hygienic workspace or house.

8 Tips for professional product photos

As you may know, from time to time we like to publish content related to other areas of ecommerce that, in my view, are as important as the technical part of the store, but many times we do not give it the relevance it deserves.

This time we will talk about the importance of product images and how to get professional results in the photos of our online store with few resources. If you are also one of those who continues uploading the product photos provided by your supplier (we have all started this way), we recommend you take a few minutes to read what we prepared and you will see that it is not that complicated to get professional and unique product photos for your online store.

Product photography is one of the fundamental pillars of any ecommerce. Part of the success of the business is to show the product for sale with the highest quality and beauty.

When the client does not have access to the physical product, the photograph is the product. The technical sheet and the description provide value, but the interest and falling in love begin with a good photograph, therefore: “Better photographs, better sales”

A good photograph makes the client imagine with the product and produces the emotion of owning it. The photograph of the product must be true to the article, otherwise it can generate problems and represent the return, losing the sale and what is worse, the customer.

In addition, product photography must communicate perfectly what is sold with the utmost fidelity, quality and beauty. Fuss Photography is the leading provider of professional photography in Australia, making it the best option for companies looking to have a great presentation in the economic departure.

8 Tips to take professional product photos for your online store adding value

# 1 Get inspired

“To make memorable photographs that show your product and its history you must cultivate, read books, magazines, catalogues, visit exhibitions and immerse yourself in the current photographic culture. Visual culture is part of us, and this is transmitted in your eyes, in your way of seeing life, of seeing your products and of composing your photographs.

It does not mean that having a better visual culture your photographs will be better, but, if it happens that, without visual culture it is very difficult to make good photographs.

See images of great photographers, visit exhibitions or consult photographic catalogues will increase your visual culture, the trained look composed in an intuitive and natural way. ”

# 2 Make an own photo style guide for your online store

A style guide is a document where you specify how you want the images to be for your online store. It will be the reference to which to direct all the steps of the photographic process. The objective is to maintain a clean and orderly appearance that generates confidence and transmits professionalism.

The photo style guide has to include at least these three data: Image format, background type, product position and shadow characteristics.

As a general rule, select square format for its greater adaptability, white background to be able to use the images in marketplaces like Amazon and soft shadows that do not remain protagonist. However, look for inspiration in the reference stores of your sector and analyse which style guide is best suited to your product.

# 3 Make a continuous fund

The most common way to create a background is through the so-called white continuous background.

You can get a background that is curved with any table and a white card, you can also serve a fabric or any other material that can be folded. We personally like cardboard for matt backgrounds and the white plastic tablecloth for bright or larger backgrounds.

Place the table next to a window, stick the curved cardboard on a wall or any object and you have the background for your first photographic studio for less than one euro.

# 4 Use the right lighting for your product

The importance of lighting is such in product photography that if you know how light works, it is likely that, with the means you already have, you can achieve a quality result. In most occasions you will have enough with the sunlight and some stationery materials like cardboard to reflect it or blur it.

Learn everything you need about light in the product photography in this article.

# 5 Show only the product for sale

It is time to place your product in the background, this should appear alone, since, otherwise and even if you specify it in the specifications, the client may think that he buys everything he sees in the image.

For example, in the following picture Is a jam jar sold or is it a batch?

Indeed, it is a lot, if it were only a boat it should appear alone, take advantage to clean and fix small imperfections so that it looks with its best aesthetics.

# 6 Set your camera to manual

The type of continuous lighting seen in Tip # 4, allows you to use any camera or mobile device. You will get the best results using a camera that allows manual configuration of the functions. Having the manual control of the parameters allows you to make corrections between take and take, avoiding the automatic decisions of the camera.

# 7 Edit your photos

The edition can turn a good photograph into a better one, but it cannot invent it, so the priority is to get good images from the moment of taking it and not to trust that a later edition will solve any problem.

With your preferred design tool, it increases the brightness of the light in the background and adjusts the contrast, in most cases it is not necessary to cut a product to get a photograph with a white background.

Before and after editing a photo in Adobe Lightroom. If you really are serious with your ecommerce we recommend you invest in this tool.

# 8 Prepare your images for Amazon

In order for your images to be used in Amazon, eBay and other product sales platforms must have certain characteristics, if you keep them in mind for your ecommerce you will only have to do the work once and the same product photo will be used for several platforms.

The product must occupy 85% of the photograph.

  • Background, pure white
  • Without Borders
  • No text
  • Without logos
  • Without watermark
  • Without mannequin

Other platforms allow coloured backgrounds, but if you are going to put your products on sale in several sites, for speed and effectiveness it is advisable to have them all white.

Remember that if you need a team of professionals to assist you with photos of a special event, here at Fuss Photography we’ll be happy to help you.

Real estate investment today: Advantages and disadvantages

Real estate investment has been and continues to be one of the most common alternatives in Australia to invest and monetise our savings. In this article we will see the main advantages and disadvantages of real estate investment.

Real estate is one of the most popular types of investment. However, it is not easy to manage in that world, especially if you do not have a good knowledge of the market. We tell you how you can get started.

Keep in mind that If you want to know if a building or house you want to buy is still sustainable and will not cause you further trouble in the future then contact us today and we will carry out an evaluation and make sure you receive the building and pest inspection in Gold Coast you deserve. Able Building Inspections is a business that puts your necessities first and makes sure you’re making a wise decision when buying a new house or building. Contact us today!

Advantages of investing in real estate

One of the main advantages of real estate investment is that, unlike other alternatives such as investment, you hardly need training. Anyone can invest in a property and understand or calculate if the house is selling at a good or bad price, within reasonable limits.

In addition, as we have seen in Australia, investment in real estate can be a very profitable investment in some cases. However, it can also be a ruinous investment if it is purchased at prices far in excess of the fair value of the property, as has happened to people who bought apartments in Spain in the middle of the real estate bubble.

Other advantages of investing in real estate are its financing conditions, which are usually at a fairly low cost. For example, in Australia to this day you can find mortgages at a fixed rate with interests of between 3% and 4%, or even lower, which means financing at a really low cost in historical terms.

Finally, we must bear in mind that when we buy real estate we are buying the property of tangible goods, that is, goods that we can see and touch. Although in my opinion it is an irrelevant advantage, many people distrust the investment in the stock market since they cannot see or touch their shares or the companies they represent. In the case of real estate, this supposed “problem” does not exist, although we insist that for us, it is not.

Disadvantages of investing in real estate

One of the main advantages of investing in real estate are its costs:

  • Financial costs related to the acquisition of the property: Taxes, notary, property registry …
  • Financial costs related to the possession of the property: Maintenance costs, community of neighbours, insurance, taxes like the IBI …
  • Time costs

To these costs should be added the costs for defaults and destruction of the buildings. These are costs that seem extraordinary, although they are more common than we might think.

In addition, we must bear in mind that real estate investments are usually very little liquid. This means that it can take us a long time to sell a flat or, in the case that we need the money as soon as possible, we may be forced to reduce its price significantly.

As we have seen, diversifying adequately is one of the keys to reduce the risk to our assets. It is very difficult to diversify by investing in real estate directly, unless we are lucky enough to have a large estate at our disposal. There are alternatives to invest indirectly in real estate in a diversified way if we do so through SOCIMIs. Of course, in this case we would lose in direct control of our investment.

Is it worth investing in home ownership?

We do not think it is a bad idea to invest in the purchase of a property intended for your own home, provided that it meets two conditions:

That we buy at a good price

That its cost is not disproportionate in relation to your income and your assets

It is very common to see how many people buy apartments that cannot be allowed. In the end, the house of your dreams ends up becoming the house of your nightmares. Do not forget that the apartment or house that is bought to live is not an asset, but a liability. Spending a lot of money buying your own property can be a huge opportunity cost and make our financial situation worse in the long term.

So, is it worthwhile to invest in real estate?

We’re not against investing in real estate as long as the potential for revaluation of the investment compensates for its drawbacks. Of course, despite the fact that there may be interesting real estate opportunities, in general it is not an alternative as good as the stock market to make our savings profitable, since it is less profitable, less liquid, more expensive and offers fewer opportunities for diversification.

The classical asset increases in several ways. In recent years the financial world showed us the risk of investing in stocks and funds and the traditional savings account brings almost nothing. In a short time, you will have to pay more taxes on your investment income. The solution? Invest in real estate. Even in times of economic and financial crisis many times real estate investment is profitable. The value of your investment capital increases over the long term and your property can provide you with income. Without risks So kill two birds with one stone. The result? Financial security and peace of mind.

Comparative vinyl carpets vs. Bamboo carpets: what is better?

In this blog we are staunch defenders of practical carpets, fine and washable. And that’s why we’ve spent a lot of time explaining things about vinyl carpets and bamboo rugs, as an epitome of (what the hell it means epitome) modern carpets for today’s houses.

But many times, you ask us about the differences between one and the other, and about which ones are better for what uses. That’s why we decided to make a comparison between both types in this post to explain the differences between them, the things they have in common and the best uses for each of them.

Find top quality carpets here at Knox Carpets, we provide second to none products at excellent prices.

Vinyl carpets and bamboo carpets:

Why do we compare these two types of carpets? Basically. because despite their differences they have in common that decorating and dressing floors with them is very practical, quick and easy.

Bamboo carpet with stripes

Because they are carpets that do not force you to large mortgages, which do not require great care and with which the cost in dry cleaning is the same as that of a sea elephant in liposuction: zero.

Carpets that are born with a vocation to help the most in the practical aspects but making very few concessions in the decorative aspects.

Of course, we can find carpets more bombastic and striking, but certainly will be several times more expensive and above all more complicated to maintain.

Two-tone beige vinyl carpet

So, you have to take into account all the factors before deciding, because otherwise it can happen to you like the one who bought a Formula One and complained that the boot was small. That is, that everything is for what it is and has its pros and cons.

Summarising the things, they have in common:

  • They are practical carpets above all, representative of modern carpets
  • They are thin and hairless
  • They are non-slip
  • They do not accumulate dust and are easily washable
  • Are valid to a greater or lesser extent for outdoor
  • They are warm and versatile for interiors
  • They have wide ranges of textures, sizes and colours

Vinyl carpets and bamboo carpets:

Bamboo rugs are a natural product, made from the wood of the plant of the same name, while vinyl rugs are the discovery of decades of research on synthetic materials such as vinyl and polypropylene.

This means that bamboo rugs have the naturalness and warmth of wood, but that also limits their durability, even though bamboo is a wood with extraordinary properties of flexibility and resistance.

Natural bamboo rug

In contrast, vinyl carpets may not be as warm as bamboo carpets, although their range of textures and colours has advanced so much lately that they look almost as fresh and natural as bamboo carpets.

And also, the advances in the manufacture of resistant and durable synthetic materials make the vinyl have no rival in terms of hardness, strength and durability.

Puff, chair and carpet for terrace

And since everything has its pros and cons, that means that vinyl carpets cannot compete economically with bamboo carpets, which are more economical and thus reduce their disadvantage.

Now it is also possible to order custom-made vinyl carpets, to the exact cut of the centimetres we need, which is a great advantage when we do not find the measure made.

Summing up the differences:

  • Bamboo rugs are natural and vinyl are synthetic.
  • The bamboo ones are very resistant and the vinyl ones even more.
  • The vinyl admits custom fabrication and the bamboo ones do not.
  • The bamboo ones last a lot and the vinyl ones last a lifetime.
  • The bamboo ones are very cheap and the vinyl ones a little less.
  • How vinyl carpets win

Neutral grey synthetic carpet

Regarding the bamboo rugs, it seems as if the vinyl rugs had taken the witness as spearhead of practical carpets and full of resources but deepening and pushing many of its virtues to the limit.

That is what has allowed the vinyl carpets have taken a giant leap in a few years, from being almost perfect strangers to be currently one of the main options when dressing floors for both domestic use as professional and commercial.

Particularly in these last two uses vinyl carpets have a clear advantage, since they are perfect for offices, public establishments, offices, event halls, hotels and all kinds of public spaces in which there is an intensive treading and a large step of people.

Vinyl carpets win the bet in:

  • Greater resistance
  • Easier cleaning still, even with a mop or hose
  • Greater adaptability and resistance to exteriors
  • Greater durability, not only compared to bamboo but against any other carpet of any type
  • Perfect for commercial and professional uses

Fine bamboo mat

Everything has its point and the bamboo rugs, although they do not reach the level of the vinyl carpets in certain parameters they have weapons to fight marking their own territory.

That would be those cases in which you want light carpets full of colour and naturalness that are also very economical and that will not cost you to replace them after several years of intense use present some wear.

Or that they contribute a specific look for youthful or infantile rooms, for terraces, or when you want above all a floor of wood that contributes naturalness above all.

Bamboo carpets earn in:

  • Economy of purchase and easy renewal
  • Easy cleaning and maintenance
  • Many colours and textures available
  • Warmth and naturalness as only wood can give
  • Bamboo rug
  • Comparison of uses
  • Terraces and exteriors

Both vinyl and recycled plastic are happy by the pool or in the garden, without being afraid of the weather, humidity or rain.

It does not mean that bamboo carpets cannot be outdoors: you can put them on a covered terrace, for example, or move them occasionally to the garden, but they cannot live permanently outside, or at least they will suffer some deterioration over time.

Knox Carpets is a business dedicated to providing carpets and flooring of a second to none quality and improve cosiness and decoration in your house or building.

5 curiosities about the cocktail preparation that will become you in the king of the night

The cocktail is a drink with or without alcohol, hot or cold, long or short, dry, semi-dry or sweet, aperitive, digestive or between meals resulting from combining in harmony of flavour, colour and aroma two or more components.

The cocktail bar was born in the pharmacies or pharmacies that made “mixers of everything” in pursuit of a cure or relief of pain. For example, the ancient “agua vitae” or “water of life” that, later, derived in the word aguardiente. This was more a medicinal remedy than a pleasure for the palate.

The cocktails made sense in full Dry Law in the United States, in 1920, when people made their distillates and had to give a different touch to cover the shortcomings or defects in processing. Many are also those who attribute their development to bartender Jerry Thomas, who in 1862 wrote a book with which he gave birth to modern cocktails and explained the art of mixing alcoholic drinks with different fruit juices.

Types of mixology

Classical Cocktail

The classic cocktail bar is the pillar on which the current cocktail bar is held. Its golden age goes from the beginning of the 20th century to the 2nd World War. At this moment the first barman instruments begin to emerge. Measures, customs and service protocols are established that are still preserved in our days. Examples of classic cocktails: Dry Martini, Manhattan.

Modern cocktail bar

It arises at the end of the 70s and the beginning of the 80s. The high alcohol content is maintained but the juices are introduced as a result of the Caribbean influence. New alcoholic bases are also incorporated, such as rum or vodka, which, thanks to their neutrality, provide great flexibility when creating new recipes.

Evolutionary cocktails

Exotic juices are abandoned and a more refined and clean type of cocktail is positioned. No new flavours are sought but a higher quality and better elaboration.

Molecular cocktails

It was born in the late 80’s in line with the trend of molecular gastronomy, it is a restructuring of all kinds of products to offer different textures, aromas and flavours.

There is a shift from cooking techniques to mixology, resulting in edible cocktails made with gelling agents, thickeners or liquid nitrogen.

A legendary cocktail that will make you the king of the night

Did you know that he was born in the 80s but his popularity boom is due to the movie Cocktail?

To enter this world, you will need:

  • A mixing glass
  • A mixing spoon
  • A jigger or meter
  • A muddler or colander
  • A shaker. The shaker can be American, or two-piece, or European, three.

Recipe

As there is no theory without practice, then a recipe with which to conquer your family and be the soul of parties: “the mojito my way”.

This cocktail was born in Ley Seca, when you wanted to drink alcohol had to leave the country to destinations such as Cuba. Many used to drink a cocktail similar to mojito but made with Bourbon, a distilled drink from the family of whiskeys. Lacking these distillates in the Caribbean, they were replaced by white rum.

Ingredients to make a ‘Mojito my way’:

  • White rum
  • Dry Triple *
  • Sour mix
  • Sugar syrup

* Triple dry is a colourless liquor of 40º alcohol made from the distillation of orange peels.

** Brown sugar (peppermint with brown sugar crushed in a chopper with a touch of toasted rum, which is allowed to marinate one day)

3 Amateur mistakes that are common in graphic designers when they want to print a work

Here at Morning Star Press we help you improve your image and branding consistently. Do not hesitate to contact us for top quality printing services.

  1. Image quality

There are still people who think that the resolution of a monitor is 72 pixels per inch and that if an image prepares it at 10 x 15 cm at 72 dpi, on all monitors on planet Earth it will look at that size. Big mistake. Not all screens have the same pixel density. And then why has that figure been standardized? Well it is something that comes from far, when all the monitors were 15 inches and contained 1024 x 768 pixels. But, of course, things have changed a lot since then, and if before that was a standard, now there is no rule worth. For not talking about retina screens, for example.

All this complication that we find in the digital field is simplified in printing with printers. Here if there is a rule, with its exceptions, as any rule, but a rule after all. Point:

All the images must be at 300 dpi in the size at which they will be printed. That is, if in a triptych there is a photo that measures 12 x 12 cm, they have to contain 300 ppi in that measure. If we lower that figure, it will pixelate.

And the exceptions?

Maybe you’re wondering why to print you need 300 dpi and not another number like 294 or 562. It’s a physiological issue. When we reach that resolution when printing, the human eye is not able to distinguish the points that make up the plot of the image. And in this the distance of the observer has much to do.

Think of books, magazines, brochures, stickers … all these products are designed to be seen at a distance, say, from reading. However, when we print to see things from a greater distance the issue changes.

  1. The colour mode

The great difference that exists between a screen and a paper, for the matter at hand, is that the screen emits light, while the paper reflects it. And this, friends, is the mother of the lamb.

In graphic arts we work with a colour mode called CMYK, corresponding to the acronym in English of cyan, magenta, yellow and black (in fact the K is key, as this key colour is considered). It is a subtractive model, if we add C + M + Y the result would be black. Why then is black ink used if it would be achieved with the other three? Simple, if every time something black was printed it would have to involve 3 inks, the result would be something comparable with a mud.

There are machines that have more than 4 inks, but that we are going to leave for another article, because it is something too technical for what we are pursuing now.

The CMYK mode is also known as four-color process (the one that refers to it as four-color will write it correctly a hundred times in waxing), and full-colour printing is achieved by alternating small dots of each of these four channels. That is to say, the inks do not mix, but are independent points of cyan, yellow, magenta or black that are so close to each other that the eye contemplates them as a unit, as an image. We encourage you to take a magnifying glass and observe a photo of any book.

And now I’m going to the bottom line: the CMYK and RGB colour ranges are not the same, that’s why, among other things, it’s so important to design in CMYK when the job is destined for a printing company. Some may be thinking that you can work with RGB and then pass it to CMYK. You are only half right. Of course, it is possible to do it, in fact in any software such as Photoshop or Illustrator is simply to unmark one option and mark the other, but the problem, as I said before, is that the colour range is not identical and, therefore, there are colours in RGB that do not exist in CMYK and vice versa.

Many shades of violet cannot be reproduced in CMYK or, to give another example, pure blue is impossible to achieve in four-color.

  1. Margins

Bleeding, bleeding or blood. Three synonyms to name one of the most important issues that you have to take into account. Let’s talk a little about it.

Imagine that you are going to print posters of 70 x 100 cm. The poster is entirely occupied by the photo of a Norwegian landscape. So you design it to that extent and you access our online printing to make the order. But there is something you do not understand. In the tab of that product you read:

Design size: 70.4 x 100.4 cm

Finished size: 70 x 100 cm

What is this? Our friend the margin, who has arrived to water the party. These figures correspond to the 2 mm that you have to add to each side of the design document, and it is up to where you have to take the photo of the beautiful Norwegian landscape. And, like everything in this life, it has a meaning.

We are sure that you want the photo to reach the end of the paper, that there is not a bit of white paper left in the perimeter and that the final measurements are as promised, that is, 70 x 100 cm. And precisely to ensure that these two conditions are met is necessary bleeding, so the guillotine cuts through the site just with the assurance that it will not be visible or a micron of the white paper.

As a general rule, the addition is 2 millimetres on each side. However, we always specify the blood that is necessary in each printing product. Even in the templates that you can download we have already included the indentation so you do not have to worry about that configuration.

Remember that if you want a leading provider of printing services helping you establish your brand, here at Morning Star Press you will find it. Contact us today so we can help you achieve your goals as a business that wants to solidify its image in the market.

Are you one of those who underestimate the importance of visiting a podiatrist?

Almost everyone knows that a podiatrist is a doctor of the feet and ankles, but what few know is what the podiatrists do and the conditions they treat. Podiatrists can treat patients in the office, hospital, wound healing centre and operating room. Patients with a variety of ages are treated, from young children to the elderly, athletes and diabetics.

Contact true professionals with years of experience helping people have healthy feet and make sure they wear the right type of shoes.

The most common conditions include plantar fasciitis (a cause of heel pain), ingrown toenails, bunions, hammertoes and flat feet.

  1. Bunions are a bony prominence that form at the base of the big toe and are particularly common in women. They require surgery in most cases.
  2. Hammer toes are fingers that bend and commonly occur on the second or third toe. They require surgery in most cases.
  3. Flat feet occur when arches are lower than normal. Podiatrists offer conservative treatments and in severe cases surgical treatments to reduce pain.
  4. Bone fractures or fractures podiatrists can treat them, including fractures of fingers, metatarsals, ankle and stress fractures. These occur when he collides with something or something is dropped on them. Stress fractures are common in athletes and people with osteoporosis.
  5. The diabetic foot includes conditions such as redness and swelling of the ankles, callused areas, ingrown toenails or open wounds in the lower part of the feet, heels or between the toes.

The foot and ankle contain 26 bones, which help people stay upright and help support the weight of the human body.

Have you never been to the pedologist? Five reasons to visit it

The feet are the forgotten parts of our body and, in many occasions, they do not receive the attention that they require. And you, are you one of those who only go to the podiatrist when you feel pain or discomfort in the feet?

If the answer is yes, you should change this approach and go, at least, once a year. Even if you do not have pain, proper care is essential to considerably improve overall health.

To get an idea of its relevance, pay attention to these curiosities and data:

– We walk about 10,000 steps a day, which means that throughout our lives we will have taken many steps to walk around the world four times.

– On our feet we discharge twice our weight in each step and up to four times more if we run.

– The feet are the only point of support of our body, where we hold all the weight.

If with these data you still do not know the importance of taking care of the footprint, we leave you five reasons why you should (if you have not yet done so) visit the podiatrist.

  1. Prevention

Treating a small foot discomfort in time or detecting a bad footprint can avoid major problems in the short and long term. Podiatric health is essential to prevent the appearance of various pathologies that affect not only the feet, but also other parts of our body such as knees, hips or spine.

Prevention can be fundamental to avoid a short or long term ailment.

  1. Sports practices?

Practicing sports involves thousands of repetitions of a certain gesture generating overloads on the feet. Sports activities can cause some problems that we must prevent and control to prevent them from becoming more serious injuries or pathologies.

For this reason, it is advisable to go to a sports podiatrist to advise you on how to perform the activity, as well as to study the suitability of your footprint. The way to step is important in any patient, but it is more in an athlete since the intensity and the number of steps increases.

The way of stepping is directly related to the injuries of an athlete.

The sports podiatrist with the results of the examination will try to correct, if necessary, the way of stepping, as well as diagnose a treatment with personalized templates, exercises, etc. In turn, it will help you determine what is the right footwear depending on the playing surface and your needs.

  1. Growth stage

There is no age as such to have a podiatric revision, since foot care is indicated for all ages. In children ages it is advisable to make the first visit with 4 or 5 years and go to a podiatrist at least once a year. An early diagnosis is essential to detect a pathology in time.

Many of the problems in the feet and gait can be corrected with simple treatments such as exercises or personalized templates.

However, it is very important to keep track of the evolution of the footprint of children, since up to the adult stage the feet undergo changes and pathologies that must be supervised by professionals. The most common problems that we find in children patients are flat feet, valgus feet, bad positioning of the fingers, Sever’s disease, papillomas, decreased stability or walking “on tiptoe”, etc.

  1. Is your shoe the right one for your type of foot?

Women are up to four times more likely to have foot problems than men. This is usually due to the type of footwear, especially the abuse of high-heeled shoes and narrow ends.

This data is a sign that abuse of certain types of footwear, of any kind, or use them inappropriately can be harmful to our feet. The shoe you need will depend on what you wear it for.

Investing in good shoes is investing in health.

  1. Know the health of your footstep

A bad footprint can generate dissymmetry’s, back problems, joints, etc … Visiting the podiatrist is vital to prevent an injury that may lead to another type of ailment. Therefore, it is advisable to perform a biomechanical study of the footprint. Thanks to this analysis we know how to step on a patient, helping to diagnose or advise to prevent the appearance of muscle and osteoarticular injuries such as plantar fasciitis, tendinitis, muscular overloads, etc.

In short, taking care of your feet, regularly visiting the podiatrist and keeping track of the footprints are fundamental aspects to take care of health by preventing pathologies or injuries.

Here at Parkwood Green Medical we will assist you and help you with any speech problems you have.

Do cold showers really have health benefits?

Are the supposed benefits of cold showers strong enough to convince you that every morning you turn the tap to the other side? Many assure that a daily shower of cold water can have health benefits: improves circulation, relieves stress and increases vitality and alertness are some of the advantages that most attribute to this habit.

But it is also said to help treat depression and anxiety, repair muscles after exercise, burn more fat or even boost the immune system. Are there scientific studies that show it? And if so, are those supposed benefits strong enough to convince you to turn the tap on the other side?

From the outset, what is clear is that cold water, in contact with the skin, is a shock to the body: the body reacts by unleashing a massive response to stress, which raises the heart rate, increases blood circulation and release adrenaline.

On the other hand, at a domestic level, a shower of cold water is quite safe and – apart tremors – it has no significant negative adverse effects on health. Unless you are very old or have heart problems, in which case the cold water could make you faint or suffer a heart attack.

Remember that here at Parkwood Green Medical you will find a team of expert professionals willing to help you and ensure you feel well.

Against depression and anxiety?

Although there has not yet been a clinical trial that has used cold shower therapy as part of the treatment for depression and anxiety, some experts believe it can help.

The theory behind this idea is that repeated exposure to cold water makes the body more effective in dealing with the stress response and with all the chemical and hormonal changes that people with depression feel.

Adapting to repeated exposure to cold could help us cope better with the psychological stress that often accompanies anxiety.

They also argue that adapting to this repeated exposure to cold stress can help us deal better with the psychological stress that often accompanies anxiety.

In a 2013 TED talk, triathlete Joel Runyon argues from a personal perspective that taking a cold shower can change the way you deal with fear and how you deal with situations in which you feel uncomfortable.

Another hypothesis argues that given the large number of cold receptors in the skin, a cold shower causes the brain to receive a huge amount of electrical impulses from the peripheral nerve endings, which may have an antidepressant effect.

What is the impact in the immune system?

But a Dutch study on the effect of cold showers on health and work published in 2016 in the journal PLOS One found that a daily shower of cold water resulted in a 29% reduction in participants’ self-assessment of illness during the 90 days after having adopted that habit.

During at least 30 consecutive days the individuals had to shower with cold water at the end of their usual showers with hot water, during periods of 30, 60 or 90 seconds, according to the study subgroup.

The researchers found that the duration of the cold shower did not influence the results, so fortunately 30 seconds is enough.

The most remarkable benefit of the volunteers was an increase in the perceived level of energy, which many compared with the effect of caffeine. In fact, some continued to take a final shower with cold water beyond the minimum period of 30 days for the experiment.

On the other hand, the most reported moderate adverse effect was a persistent cold sensation in the body, hands and feet.

Do cold showers relieve muscle pain after exercise?

Many athletes are in favour of baths in cold water after exercise. The theory behind this habit says that submerging in cold water reduces pain and accelerates the recovery of small fissures in the muscles that exercise generates.

But the scientific evidence on whether this works or not is ambivalent.

If someone feels that taking a cold shower works for them, there is no reason to stop.

Some studies say it improves recovery but others suggest that it may reduce the ability of muscles to adapt.

On the other hand, a 2014 study published in Physical Therapy in Sport found that there were no significant statistical differences between taking a single brief dip of contrast, brief intermittent dives of hot and cold water or 10-minute cold water baths at 6 or 10 degrees.

Do they really help burn fat?

This is one of the most popular beliefs about cold water showers: that you can convert unhealthy “white” fat into active, metabolically healthy “brown” fat, the kind of fat you burn to shake.

Unfortunately, there is very little evidence that this is true.

In conclusion…?

Until now scientific research on the benefits of cold shower therapy is still at a very early stage and there is not much conclusive evidence.

But since no significant adverse effects have been reported, apart from feeling cold, nor is it something that causes dependence, if someone feels that they work, there is no reason to stop doing so.

Other benefits cold water provides

Provides shine to the hair

Washing your hair with cold water causes the cuticles to close, creating a smooth, shiny surface.

Improves the condition of the skin

If you are looking for a cheap method to revitalise your skin, you may want to try some cold water. Hot water tends to dry our skin, so it is much more convenient to use cold water to narrow cuticles and pores, preventing dirt and grease from entering and not clogging.

Improves circulation

A good way to improve blood circulation is by taking an ice bath or soaking the area that we want to improve with ice water.  The contrast in temperature that cold water generates with our body causes a greater amount of blood to be demanded in the area, causing the arteries to pump more efficiently the blood in our body.

Improves sexual life

We have all heard that we should take a cold shower if we want to calm our hormones. However, reports show that cold water can have the opposite effect. Showering with cold water increases the levels of testosterone and estrogen.

If you want to contact an expert and back up your decision to have a less stressful lifestyle, here at Parkwood Green Medical you will find them.

The 6 most valued attitudes in a job interview

Recruiters have their own codes to know if you are the right person.

In a society with increasingly larger unemployment markets, academic certifications and curricular history lose importance when it comes to selecting one of the candidates to choose.

The attitude and values of the person who aspires to occupy a job becomes an essential criterion to opt for the person who best fits the company’s philosophy and who will have more facilities to function well in the typical work dynamics of the company. the organisation.

Here at Sydney Resumes we help you write and optimise your professional resume in order to make your way to the labour market easier. We also offer you top assistance so you can go prepared to your first interview.

6 positive attitudes in job interviews

Although skills and abilities continue to be of vital importance in judging candidates and selecting those who meet the minimum training and experience, it is in job skills that the determining factor is actually found to earn a job in the company. People with an appropriate curriculum for the position can be much less productive than expected if their emotional adjustment and work style do not adapt to the professional context.

Human Resources recruiters know this and tend to attach great importance to the attitude that applicants show for a position. Thus, showing a repertoire of improper attitudes of a company worker can mean being relegated to a second or third place on the podium of best candidates, or it can even mean exclusion from the process in the absence of a better candidacy.

In addition, the Human Resources staff knows that choosing a candidate only for their merits and then having them internalise the values and attitudes necessary to function well is a slow, costly process that does not have to come to fruition. For this reason, they increasingly consider that these attitudinal elements must be present from the first moment in each candidate before integrating them into the organisation.

Why is it useful to pay attention to the most valued attitudes in an interview?

As it is in the face-to-face work interview, the scenario in which we will have to make visible our facet closer to the attitudes valued by the recruiters, it is good to have some of them clear and to be minimally trained in their externalisation.

Obviously, if these attitudes are very far from our temperament and personality, it is sterile to pretend that they are part of us. But if it is not, it is worth not letting nerves and protocol restrict us, make us act with little naturalness and act as a barrier in the job interview, moving away from our goal.

Keeping in mind that we have to show ourselves as we are also implies recognising those attitudes that define us and that are valued in a job interview. This will prevent us from overlooking its exteriorisation.

In what jobs are attitudes more valued?

In general, the importance of the attitude as a variable to take into account to select the ideal candidate grows as the position chosen is more important in the organisation chart. Thus, in a job interview to opt for a position in the lowest position in the chain of command, you will spend less time examining the aspects related to affectivity and attitudes, whereas the opposite will happen when you look for someone with a lot of decision capacity and people in charge.

When you are looking for a department head, for example, a lot of the time of the job interview may seem like a friendly chat: that is the space in which the staff selection judge judges the adequacy of the candidate in terms of values, motivations and attitudes.

Attitudes to show in a job interview

Although part of the attitudes valued depend on the job, there are some that are common to all cases in which you choose to have some margin of decision. These seven attitudes are:

  1. Assertiveness

It is the ability to communicate important aspects, whether positive or negative, firmly but without being offensive. Someone assertive never saves relevant information for fear of hurting their interviewer.

Being less assertive can have as a consequence that problems accumulate without the superiors knowing of their existence, and therefore productivity is impaired. In a job interview, a good way to demonstrate assertiveness is to talk bluntly about professional expectations and what you expect to find in that organisation in question.

  1. Curiosity

Curiosity is expressed by showing interest in the organisation you want to be part of. Someone curious will be able to look beyond their immediate professional goals and, therefore, is more likely to quickly learn how to work in the company.

In addition, it will detect beforehand possible problems that have gone unnoticed by the rest. However, it is convenient not to allow this curiosity to become an intrusion into the work of others.

  1. Friendliness

In the professional context, it is very easy for the different responsibilities and division of work to lead to communication failures, professional burnout or the generation of tension climates. A kind treatment towards all people is not only valued for the obvious reasons that go beyond the professional scope, but it serves to maintain an adequate organisational climate in which the fact of having to interact with many people is not perceived as a source of conflicts.

In addition, all members of the organisation should be treated in the same way, both for ethical reasons and not to create hermetic groups.

  1. Proactivity

A proactive attitude can be recognised even in people who speak a language unknown to us. Someone proactive understands that the job interview is a space for dialogue, and not a personalised conference in which each person issues messages unilaterally.

Beyond the communicative sphere, proactivity is reflected in the ease of proposing solutions and contributing things that are not expected of us.

  1. Receptive attitude

The candidates must show a proactive attitude, but they also have to know when to listen. This means, of course, that people should not be interrupted when they speak, but it also has to be clear when it comes to recognising the different authorities and recognizing their authority when they talk about their professional field.

  1. Results orientation

The aspirant must show interest in knowing what the ultimate goals of the organisation are, and make their activity focused on these ends and not on others. In the job interview, this involves talking about previous professional experiences, emphasising the importance of goals determined objectively, and not in the abstract.

Remember that at Sydney Resumes we will help you achieve your professionals goals starting with how you introduce your competencies to companies and businesses.

Automatic Train Protection (A.T.P.)

The main objective of the railway signaling is the safety of train circulation, preventing the collision of two trains and ensuring the spacing between them. To do this, mutually incompatible movements are prevented and the activation of track switches, railway signaling, etc. is regulated; all within restrictive criteria aimed towards safety. However, the foregoing is always subject to the correct performance of the driving personnel. Automatic protection systems, spoken about in this point, are considered an additional part to signaling, and their philosophy is based on the supervision of the correct performance of drivers, so that, if a driver doesn’t obey the indications of the signals or exceeds the maximum permissible speed in the section in which they are located, an emergency braking of the train automatically occurs.

In medium and long-distance trains, the intervals are usually not as demanding, except in shared paths, and until now, ATP systems were mostly based on “safe braking” criteria to avoid collision than on the compatibility of interval reductions and safety.

Metropolitan railways usually reach the highest possible number of accelerations and decelerations compatible with the comfort of their passengers, to achieve very short travel times, maximising commercial speed despite frequent stops. This is complemented by the ever-growing need in most administrations to incorporate as many trains as possible in the most crowded lines and periods of the day.

Remember that here at SAM Technology you will find what you need in order to take operations to a whole new level and increase productivity. A company with an experienced and dedicated engineering team of experts that can offer quick and practical solutions to your problems, tailor-made to cover your requirements and demands.

The Automatic Train Protection (ATP) systems are divided in four different types for metropolitan trains:

  • Maximum speed point systems
  • Maximum speed canton systems
  • Target distance systems
  • Linear or continuous systems

Maximum speed point systems. – These systems are based on the incorporation of information from the fixed installation to the train in very specific points or areas of the line; not continuously as in the previous case.

The way to transmit this information is usually via emitting balises placed in the tracks that emit a signal received through the train antennas mentioned in the previous section.

The first point systems were named “TRAIN STOP” and they were conceived as systems aimed towards issuing an emergency braking command to any train that passed a red light in case of human failure. This appeared many years ago (although it still operational in some metros, like in New York’s), in some purely mechanical systems that, with an articulated mechanism, lifted a metal block or platen when a railway signal was in red. If the train passes the red signal, it performs an emergency braking due to a metal tamper installed in the bogie colliding with the railway platen that causes said braking.

The ASFA system

Due to its wide use and generalization in Spain, this section will focus a little on this system that, in the current times, and except in the Mediterranean corridor and in the High Speed lines where other systems like the LZB in the Madrid-Sevilla line, and the ERTMS in the new Madrid-Barcelona, Toledo, Valladolid, etc. lines, it is the basic point ATP in our network.

The Announcement of Signals and Automatic Braking (ASFA) system was created to provide trains with greater traffic safety. In short, its purpose is to display the indications of the railway signals in the train’s driving cab, conditioning driver’s actions to comply with the specifications of said signals and safety regulations. In case of not fulfilling the requirements of the signal, emergency braking is activated, and the risk of accident is avoided, in the event of a hypothetical error or delay in the response of the driver. The most advanced systems or generations of ASFA allow maximum speeds of up to 200 Km/h.

In addition to the signals, the system is equipped with two well-differentiated parts depending on their location, the track equipment and the vehicle’s equipment. The purpose of the track equipment is to transmit to the vehicle the indications of the signals that appear in the considered travel direction. As for the equipment in the vehicle, it must be able to receive the information, record the driver’s response and, in the event that the latter doesn’t respond, issue the command to activate the emergency braking.

The element located on the track to transmit the information to the vehicle is called a balise, and it is a device through which the inductive transmission of the information corresponding to the indication of the signal is made to the vehicle equipment’s sensor, when the latter passes over it. This transmission is carried out by inductive coupling. A sensor for this signal, a control cabinet, a power supply and a panel in the driving cab are installed on board the train. Obviously, the onboard equipment must be interconnected with the brake equipment, and with other systems of the cabin such as the tachograph, tachometer, recorder, etc.

Other security systems.

The authorities’ concern about the high number of incidents, and the impact they have, has led to the continued development and installation of new systems that help prevent accidents and, where appropriate, investigate the causes of them.

In this sense, there are pilot experiments in the installation of a monitoring system for level crossings via cameras, event recorders and in the installation of track obstacle detection systems.

Work has also been carried out to improve the pavements to avoid possible incidents derived from the poor condition of it. The old planks have been replaced by non-slip rubber pavements that are also removable and facilitate the maintenance of the track.

Ticks in dogs and keeping them under control

In spring, with the arrival of heat, ticks also come out. To be able to reproduce, the female needs blood and your dog is one of the favorited hosts for them. The tick waits for our dog in areas with enough vegetation, as for example in tall grasses, on the edges of the roads, in gardens, walls, parks, or unbuilt land. So it’s easy for your dog to run into ticks when you go for a ride with him.

Here at Brisbane Terminator we will provide you with the services you need in order to ensure pests stay away from your house.

Some technical information about ticks

  • The most common species in Spain are: Rhipicephalus sanguineus, Ixodes ricinus, Ixodes hexagonus and Dermacentor reticulatus.
  • They measure between 0.35 and 1.5 centimetres
  • An adult female lay between 2,000 and 4,000 eggs.
  • These eggs can survive up to three years in the environment.
  • When they are young they have six legs, but once adults grow two more legs.
  • The ticks hide in the trees waiting for a dog to jump over.
  • They are very active and abundant in spring and summer, but they can survive the low temperatures of winter

When a dog approaches a tick it will jump on top of our friend and walk through its coat until it reaches its favourite place, which is usually:

  • The area of the ears,
  • Between the toes,
  • Near the eyes, neck or neck

In these places is where their skin is thinner and with greater blood irrigation.

If you have not treated your dog with an antiparasitic product it is normal to find ticks. Do not worry, it has nothing to do with the hygiene of your dog. A simple walk is enough for your dog to have ticks. There is no dog in Spain that is free of these bugs.

In any case, it is very likely that you will not detect the tick if you do not look for it. Its evolutionary success lies in going unnoticed. When you bite your dog, it does not know, because before introducing its mouth, similar to a stiletto, the tick deposits a small amount of saliva with anaesthetic properties. When it bites your dog, it will not cause any pain.

Although its bite does not cause pain, it does cause damage.

These are the ways in which the tick produces an injury in the host:

  • Injuries from the action of their mouthparts on the skin,
  • Toxic effects since the saliva of the tick contains enzymes and neurotoxins that can cause paralysis,
  • Causing weakening and anaemia by consuming large amounts of blood,

Transmission of other diseases

Have you found a tick and want to know how to remove it?

First, ripping the rennet tick is contraindicated. The only thing we do is remove part of the body and the rest is still attached to the dog, which can cause infections.

Ideally, apply a few drops of Vaseline or paraffin around, rub it for a while until the skin softens slightly and then try to remove it gently. Then we can get rid of the tick by putting it in alcohol so that the eggs do not escape and kill it. It is important to wash your hands after handling them.

There are also special instruments for extracting the parasite, such as tweezers, which can be purchased in specialised stores.

How do ticks affect the health of pets?

Given their status as hematophagous arthropods (they feed on blood), ticks occupy an important place as vectors or transmitters of diseases that are debilitating to their host or that constitute a threat to the lives of animals and humans (zoonoses).

Due to their type of feeding, and whenever the degree of infestation is severe, ticks can cause in the animal parasitized weakness, progressive thinning, anaemia (due to the great loss of blood) and even death of the pet due to intense anaemia or for some other disease to which he is susceptible due to his state of extreme weakness.

The mechanical damage of the bite of the parasite, added to the effects of the irritating substances of its saliva, cause inflammatory lesions of the skin that are manifested with pruritus (itching), scratching and restlessness.

In addition to these problems, ticks offer the potential risk of contagion of different infectious diseases, such as:

Piroplasmosis or Babesiosis

It is a parasite that produces a disease that affects dogs by parasitizing their blood and causing the destruction of red blood cells.

Ticks are active transmitters of this parasite called Babesia, where it fulfils part of its parasitic cycle.

It is transmitted by the ticks that are found in both rural and urban areas.

Without timely treatment, the disease can be fatal.

Even when it is treated, the dog can be left with kidney sequelae.

Ehrlichiosis

Erlichiosis is a disease caused by a bacterium called Ehrlichia canis that attacks dogs, cats and humans (zoonosis) mainly by the tick bite.

The Erlichia is inoculated into the blood of the host while the tick feeds (sucking blood) infecting mainly the white blood cells of the animal, causing, in most cases very severe haemorrhages, accompanied by other signs such as high fever, cachexia (extreme thinning), enlarged lymph nodes, anaemia, neurological signs, blindness, etc.

Lyme disease or Borreliosis

It can affect dogs and cats. The bacteria that causes the disease is called Borrelia, which spreads throughout the body.

It is transmitted by ticks that are found mainly in wooded areas.

Lyme disease is difficult to diagnose and can leave scars on the joints causing chronic lameness in the affected animal.

Hemobartonelosis

It is a disease that only attacks the cat and is caused by a parasite transmitted by the bite of the tick to the blood.

Many of these diseases can be transmitted to humans (zoonoses), so care must be taken with possible contact with the blood that these parasites have ingested (for example, if you try to take off the ticks of the pet without any protection on the hands).

In recent years, cases of hepatozoonosis have increased, a parasitic disease also transmitted by the tick and which is becoming increasingly important in our country.
